Here's something a bit different for Design Heroes. Kutiman mashes together unrelated YouTube music performances to create the "Mother of All Funk Chords". Is this Music 2.0, crowdsourcing? I don't know what that means but this is definitely cool.

Smashing Mag introduces "Zen Coding" a text-editor plugin that aids HTML writing. Looks like it could genuinely increases productivity, if you can figure out how it works.
IxEdit brings the power of coding jQuery into an easy to use graphical interface. It calls itself "The First On-the-Fly Interactive Design Tool for the Web" and although that sentence is a load of nonsense, the tool does look quite useful. (Especially for people who have never coded with jQuery.) And please, remember to remove IxEdit before deploying your website! Considering JavaScript "apps" are all the rage right now I'm looking forward to seeing more experimental stuff like this. In fact I'm actually working on one myself ;-)
There was a video on TED a while back introducing SixthSense. Now the inventor Pranav Mistry demostrates some very practical uses for the device that blurs the boundaries between the digital and real world. So many possibilities, it's incredible to think just how cheaply the devices can be made.
Mocking Bird is an online application that lets you wireframe website designs and link them together. Very useful and quick.
It's not productive or clever to make fun of your own clients, but stories about other peoples clients are hilarious.

Papyrus is up there in the Comic Sans league of typographic monstrosities. I don't know how the person being this blog can handle so much Papyrus!
