Happycentro is an Italian design studio that works with identity, print, illustration, video and other disciplines. The agency is based in Verona (Italy) and is made up of designers Federico Galvani, Roberto Solieri, Giulio Grigollo, Andrea Manzati and Federico Padovani (the photographer). They have worked for the likes of the New York Times, Nike and many other large and small companies.
Our approach to design is always the same: designing a logo, an advertising page, a wall or directing a commercial offers the same opportunity to deal with a problem. With time we have become quite good at solving problems.
Alongside the many client works Happycentro also produce self-promotional pieces like the beautifully sculptured "PaperObjects" (pictured above). The project mixes Origami folds with overlaying pattern prints and typography.
These are abstract forms and in the background you can see their structure. The light coming through the window and so it is a natural light, a daylight.
PaperObjects is a stunning piece of abstract design showcasing both a sharp eye for aesthetics and a dexterous hand for tactile design. Ok, I'm a sucker for Origami inspired work!
