To really think about design, you need to learn and think about everything other than it. Design is a vessel: the most important part is what it holds.
This is a refreshing talk to watch from a very articulate and experienced designer. Frank Chimero has recently launched an already successful Kickstarter project to fund and publish a book on these ideas.
I've spent the better part of the last two years writing and speaking on design and thinking about the topics that orbit the practice: storytelling, concept, craft, and improvisation. I want to take all of the ideas I've had and connected these past few months and capture them in a book format.
