Alvy Ray Smith Memos

It's safe to say Alvy Ray Smith is a legend in the world of computer graphics having worked for Microsoft, Lucas Films (computer division), and Pixar (co-founding the latter two). If you visit his website you'll be treated to a variety of memos on the subject. Despite being written in 1995 his memo "A Pixel is Not a Little Square" is still relevant today, and in my opinion should be a mandatory read for any graphic and web designer.
