The Printliminator
Chris Coyier (of css-tricks.com fame) and Devon Govett have created this nifty-javascripty bookmark tool to make any website ready for print. It may have some uses in web development too.

Students Tom Wrigglesworth and Matt Robinson present a clever HP advertisement for the D&AD Student Awards. I love seeing students blur the line between "student quality" and professional production quality. Not sure how many trees were hurt in the making of this video though? They're from Kingston University who always has one of the best stands at D&AD New Blood. Nice work lads!
Jonathan Zittrain gives us a funny and fresh look at the uniqueness of the Internet and the way humanity uses it. Very reassuring.
I recently made the pledge to avoid Lorem Ipsum where ever possible. Now I can replace it with other random gibberish! Actually, there are some nice features such as column resizing and font selection that make this generator quite useful.
Mobify is a free(ish) service that will convert your website into a mobile-friendly design without the hassle of manually editing a new stylesheet from scratch. It will let you view your design on various phone screens (e.g. iPhone) and generate the final CSS for your fine-tuning. I'm generally not interested in promoting paid for services here on Design Heroes, but I'm all for promoting the design of websites in the necessary multiple formats - which most web designers (myself included) often ignore.
Max Bruinsma's website has some great articles on graphic design, the arts, typography and other disciplines.
Rene Wanner brings us an astounding archive of posters from around the world. There are some real graphic design gems in this collection.
Powerful photography emphasised in high-resolution through a minimal Flash interface. It's nice to see such simplicity and elegance, often web galleries make it so difficult to view work.
A brand new web design gallery in which designs are categorised by colour (or "color"). An original idea (I think) brought to use by Francesco Mugnai.
Yasuko Ikeda is a Japanese graphic designer focusing on the digital, illustration and fashion/textile disciplines. A refreshing and impressive variety of work. Her Grafik magazine covers are my favourite.
